Your recipes stay yours
Candle Route: Create Your Own was designed from the ground up to work entirely offline. This policy explains, plainly, what that means for your data — which is that we don't collect any.
- 1. Information We CollectCandle Route does not collect any personal information, usage data, or device identifiers. There are no account sign-ups, no forms, and no hidden trackers embedded in the app.
- 2. How We Use InformationBecause no information is collected, none is used, analyzed, profiled, or sold. Your recipes, jar measurements, inventory lists, and curing schedules are yours alone.
- 3. Data StorageAll content you create — wax formulas, fragrance ratios, inventory counts, wick notes, and timer settings — is stored locally on your device only. Nothing is uploaded to any cloud server or external database.
- 4. Third-Party ServicesCandle Route contains no third-party analytics software development kits, advertising networks, or tracking pixels. The app functions with zero external network calls.
- 5. Data SecuritySince your information never leaves your device, there is no transmission to intercept and no remote server to breach. Your workshop data is as secure as your device itself.
- 6. Children's PrivacyCandle Route does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13. The app's offline, account-free design makes it compliant with the spirit of COPPA by default.
- 7. Your ControlThere are no accounts to manage and no servers holding your data, so there is nothing for us to delete on request. Uninstalling the app permanently removes all locally stored recipes and settings from your device.
- 8. Changes to This PolicyIf our offline-first approach ever changes, we will update this policy and revise the effective date above before any new practice takes effect.
